Does your organization still use SharePoint 2007? Does an upgrade to SharePoint 2013 seem like a daunting task? With the right amount of planning, collaboration, and a little patience, it can be done.

The intranet team at Wells Fargo, successfully upgraded their intranet’s SharePoint 2007 profiles and MySites to SharePoint 2013 – in less than a year’s time. As part of the upgrade, the team introduced new features to team members such as OneDrive document collaboration, activity feeds, and the ability to 'follow' other team members. As a result of the upgrade efforts, in just six months profile updates by team members increased by over 50%.

Learn tips and tricks to ease the upgrade of SharePoint in your orgniazation, including how to:

  • Follow a mantra of ‘out-of-the-box when possible, customize where it counts’
  • Develop an effective and sustainable governance model
